Alan Ward has dedicated his 30-year career at Sasaki, one of the nation’s top architecture and planning firms, to urban design and landscape work, with a strong focus on the planning and design of major public spaces and private mixed-use development.

Alan’s award-winning portfolio includes design and planning for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, Reston Town Center, The Woodlands Town Center and the US Capitol Visitors Center, as well as the rehabilitation of the landscape at the Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC.

Trained as both an architect at the University of Cincinnati and a landscape architect at Harvard University, Alan has taught in both fields.
