CONNECTING WITH NATURE & NEIGHBORS
Nature is at the heart of what makes the Bayside community so special. Thankfully, there’s a multitude of ways to enjoy it. Stroll along the Lake Ray Hubbard shoreline. Investigate the trails and native plant species at Peninsula Park. Catch a sunset sailboat cruise from the marina or paddle away in a kayak. Bayside is more than a beautiful place to live – it’s a beautiful way of living.
PENINSULA PARK
An oasis on the north side of Lake Ray Hubbard, Peninsula Park is a place for neighbors and friends to connect with nature and one another. Inspired by the native plants of the East Fork of the Trinity River, Peninsula Park is a unique combination of the area’s history and a peek into its bold future.
Comprised of eight-acres – including a half-acre dog park – the park features many native plant species like Texas redbuds and Mexican plums. Designed by award-winning landscape architecture firm, Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, to reflect Rowlett’s natural Blackland Prairie environment, the park boasts nearly 400 new trees, a 3-acre meadow, winding trails along the water’s edge and stone block benches with vistas of the lake.
Additionally, the park is connected to Bayside’s lakeshore trail, which is open to the public, providing new outdoor spaces for Rowlett residents to enjoy the lake.
RESIDENTIAL HOA
Bayside residents have a Homeowner’s Association that is managed by Community Management Associates. The HOA fees cover maintenance of the common areas, multiple parks and surrounding trails as well as yard care depending on your home type and lot size.
SAPPHIRE BAY MARINA
With more than 900 floating slips for power boats and sailboats plus amenities like picnic areas and barbecue decks, Sapphire Bay Marina is the place to be for year-round fun and entertainment. The marina, located in close proximity to Bayside, includes dry boat and trailer storage accommodating more than 350 boats and trailers.
